Older people deserve to thrive

Working class people should be able to age well and live with dignity as they age. We take a community development approach to working with older people; bringing an understanding that their personal, social and political needs are interlinked. 

Our work over the last number of decades has included fighting for a pioneering housing development for older people, where they can live independently, wrapped in practical community support. 

We run weekly breakfasts for older people in our community, we run a number of summer programmes, we provide practical support and advocate for their needs when necessary.
